Due to a broken water main earlier today, the Village of Radium Hot Springs’ water reserves are somewhat depleted. This, combined with the new Wildfire No. N22243 about 15-20km SW of Radium, has caused the Village to move to Stage 2 of its Water Restrictions Bylaw. As a result, the Peaks’ automatic sprinkler systems will be shut off until the Village returns to Stage 1 water restrictions.
