The Strata Board has decided to re-open the pool as of Saturday, July 25, but require the full support of owners, their guests, and their short and long-term renters to keep it open for the duration of the summer.
The limit of 16 people anywhere past the Amenities Building main doors needs to be strictly followed. We are relying on everyone to follow all of the “NEW POOL RULES – COVID 19” in order to maintain a safe place for all users.
THESE ARE NOT SUGGESTIONS, THEY ARE REQUIREMENTS.
Due to the lack of space to social distance, the hot tubs (outdoor and indoor) will be closed until further notice.
We will continue to monitor the following of rules. Noncompliance will mean that the pool will be closed for the rest of the summer. Ultimately, this is in your hands to decide how we proceed, so please help self-monitor the bather numbers and rules.
Thank you for your understanding, and stay safe.

Pool Closed- COVID rules violations
Unfortunately over the past few days a number of Interior Health protocols were not followed or disregarded, and we have made the decision to close the pool and reevaluate. These rules included: Bather limit of 16 (20-24 people were observed), hot tub limit (rule is 2 people or 1 family), cleaning chairs (not compliant), not moving chairs (chairs are being moved), and signing in/out (this is not a resort; you cannot reserve chairs and come and go at will).
We need the support and cooperation of owners in order to provide a safe place for everyone to enjoy.
Pool Opening
It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for! The Peaks pool will reopen on July 13 with some restrictions to accommodate Interior Health requirements.
The full list of rules will be posted at the pool as well as our website (click here). New rules include a maximum of 16 people at the pool, wash your hands before entering the pool area, be sure to use the sign in/out sheet at the front table, do not move pool furniture and bring your own wipes to wipe down furniture before and after use (wipes will not be supplied). Please respect those waiting by limiting your time at the pool to an hour. Please limit your time in the hot tub to 15 minutes if others are waiting.
We are relying on the ownership to be respectful and responsible for maintaining these new pool protocols. Disregard for pool rules will result in closure of the pool for the rest of the summer.
Please enjoy responsibly!

Pool Update
We have had some inquiries regarding the pool status and so thought we would send out one message to all. Although Interior Health is allowing pools to open, the protocols required to open are extensive and require staffing that we are unable to accommodate. In addition to heightened cleaning, social distancing protocols need to also be monitored and enforced, which would mean full-time staff at the Amenities Building.
We are hopeful that with the next phase of opening, the province will relax these restrictions and we will be able to open. The pool and hot tubs have been maintained, and will be ready to go as soon as we are given the go-ahead.
Thank you for your ongoing patience in this matter.
