The board has noticed an increased number of peaks patios and balconies external appearance being altered. This is a direct violation of 3.(7) of our Owner Developers’ Notice of Different Bylaws.
(7) An owner, tenant or occupant must not alter or deface the external appearance of a Strata Lot or any premises thereon or the common property;
This includes but not limited to hanging up wind chimes, thermometers, bird feeders, lights, attaching flower baskets to railings, chalk drawing on the glass patio or window panes, attaching mesh, greenery or blinds to the outside patio or balconies.
The board is asking all owners and tenants to bring their patio and balconies back to original condition. If this not done, the board will take action including assessing fines for anyone who is in violation of this or any other bylaw.
Additionally, no patio heaters, gas cans or open ashtrays are permitted on the balconies or patios as this is deemed to be a fire hazard.
Owners, tenants or occupants must use as a cover ashtray at all times.
